I hate writing my thoughts down, but for those who are interested, My name is Mike. My younger brother and I have always had a natural ability to draw, even at very young ages, but in my case, I lost interest many years ago. I was working quite a bit after I graduated from high school and I eventaully enlisted in the Navy because I didn't know what I wanted to do, not did I have the means for college.

Recently, however, my brother has been attending IUN for graphic design and that sort of re-inspired me to draw. I didn't think the desire to illustrate would last very long, but I was proven wrong after I got my wacom tablet and photoshop. I've spent the last 3 or 4 months trying to learn the ins-and-outs of photoshop, and while I'm still not very good with colors and such, I can certainly see progress from my early PS pieces up until now.

I'm going to give this inspiration another six months before I make a decision as to whether or not I want to pursue illustration and graphic instruction on a formal basis, but I think that this is gunna be the thing I settle on. I've never had more fun than I have when working on a piece of digital art.
